Why do templates need to be approved?
Facebook, the owner of WhatsApp Business, requires approval of message templates to ensure that templates do not violate company policies, such as user data protection and privacy. Approval also ensures that messages sent to customers are relevant and useful, avoiding spam and other forms of abuse. In addition, approval allows Facebook to monitor the use of message templates by users, identifying any suspicious or fraudulent behavior. In summary, template approval is an important measure to ensure a quality customer service experience for WhatsApp Business users.
Benefits
- Time savings: templates allow you to send pre-written messages to your customers, saving time when responding to frequently asked questions.
- Standardization of service: with templates, you ensure that all messages sent to customers follow a standard, ensuring the quality of the service provided.
- Avoids errors: templates are pre-approved by Facebook, ensuring that messages sent are within the company's policies and avoiding problems with typos or incorrect information.
- Greater efficiency: with the use of templates, it is possible to send quick and efficient responses to customers, increasing their satisfaction.
- Message control: Facebook monitors the use of templates, identifying any suspicious or fraudulent behavior, increasing security when sending messages to customers.
How does it work?
You create the templates on our platform and they are then sent to Facebook for content evaluation, which may be approved or rejected. This process can take from a few seconds to 48 hours, depending on Facebook's rules.
