Step by step
- Access your Administrative Panel;
- Click on the Settings option;
- Now go to the Robot appearance;
Default settings
- Character image
You can use one of our default avatars by clicking on Available Images, or upload a custom avatar by clicking on Upload Image.
🔍 Note: If you choose to upload a custom image, the standard for uploading is:
- Format: png;
- Size: 100kb;
- Background: transparent.
- Avatar background color
This option refers to the color that will be in the background of the character image you choose for your robot. For example, in the image below, the avatar's background color is blue:
- Chat background color
This color will be applied to the call-to-action balloon, header, and buttons of your robot. For our example robot, we chose the color pink:
- Robot name
In the Choose a Name for Your Robot option, you can choose a name to appear in the header of your chatbot instead of "24-hour Service." In our example robot, we chose the name "Julia," and the header message was changed to "Hello, I'm Julia":
- Robot position
In this option, you can choose whether your robot should appear on the right or left side of your website.
💡 Tip: If you have a predominant color on your website and want to match your robot with it, simply copy the hexadecimal code and paste it into the panel above. Learn how to find the color code of your page by clicking here.
Advanced settings
With advanced settings, you can essentially specify the appearance of your chatbot by device type: mobile (smartphone) or desktop (computer). Here are some things you can adjust:
- Enable/disable the call-to-action balloon while your chatbot is minimized;
- The size of the avatar between small/medium/large;
- The positioning of the avatar on the page, such as height and distance from the side.
After making all these adjustments, don't forget to click Save to apply the changes to your robot!
