Apple mobile devices have specific steps for enabling notifications. To do this, the Asksuite platform must be saved as a shortcut on the device's home screen.
Follow these steps to enable notifications:
- Go to LiveChat 2.0
- Click the options icon (a box with an upward arrow). In the Safari browser, it will be in the bottom bar, and in Chrome, it will be in the top bar, near the website's URL field.
- Select "Add to Home Screen."
- A default name for the shortcut will be suggested, but you can change it if you'd like. When done, click "Add."
- The shortcut will appear on your home screen. Open it and log in to the platform again using your login details.
- After logging in, the platform will open. Click the bell icon located at the top of the screen to proceed.
- Next, click the “Allow notifications” button.
- A system window will appear; click "Allow" to proceed.
- You're all set! You will now receive notifications on your mobile device.
