Set up weekly time periods to condition workflows based on specific hours. Examples of using this feature include:
- Define a time period matching your hotel’s business hours and set different actions within the workflow for in or out-of-hours responses.
- Set a “preferred” time period for AskFlow to send messages, avoiding late-night notifications for a better customer experience.
Time periods allow for personalized traveler interactions, ensuring messages are sent at the right time.
Follow these steps to set up time periods:
- Go to “Advanced Settings” in AskFlow.
- Click on “Custom Time Periods”.
- Select “Create New Period”.
- Name the time period and, if needed, add a description.
- Set up time periods for each day of the week by clicking “+” and adding as many slots as needed.
- You may leave certain days without set hours; these will be treated as “outside time period” in workflows.
- Once all days and hours are set, click “Save”.
- Repeat this process to add multiple time periods.
- To edit an existing time period, click the three dots and select “Edit”.

To remove a time period, ensure it’s not in use in any workflow, update the workflow if necessary, and then delete.
You're all set! With time periods set up, you can now apply them to your workflows.
