How do I check my current WhatsApp credit balance?
In the platform's left-side menu, click on the "WhatsApp" icon and then click on "Credit Report".
When accessing the screen, your current credit balance will be displayed, along with the date and time of the last update.
—------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Important: To see your current balance, make sure the date range you select includes the current day. For example: "Today", "Last 7 days", "This month", and so on.
—-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you manage multiple WhatsApp accounts, use the filter to select the desired companies and click "Apply filter". The table will show a summary of the credits consumed and available for each unit, in the selected period.
Analyzing the Credit Consumption Graph by Day
The "Consumption of credits by day" graph was developed to offer a clear and detailed view of your WhatsApp credit usage over time. It allows you to visualize:
- Credit Outflows: How many credits were used per sending type each day.
- Balance Variation: How your credit balance behaved over the selected period.
—------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Important: For the graph to be displayed, select only one (1) company in the filter.
—------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Graph Visualization
The graph bars display Asksuite's credit consumption, segmented by different types of active sends. Each bar color is associated with a specific sending category:
- AskFlow: Credits used for messages sent via AskFlow.
- WhatsApp campaings: Credits consumed by sending WhatsApp campaigns.
- Start conversation: Credits spent to initiate new conversations in the Livechat.
- Follow-up: Credits used for scheduled messages sent by Livechat tasks.
The orange line on the graph illustrates the variation in your total credit balance.
Graph Interactivity
The graph offers interactive functionalities for a more in-depth analysis:
Hide/Show Legend Items:
By clicking on a legend item, the corresponding item will be hidden from the graph.
If you click again, it will reappear. This allows you to focus on specific data or compare different metrics.
Column Drill-down:
To get more specific information about credit consumption on a particular day and sending type, you can click directly on a colored column.
For example, by clicking on the purple (AskFlow) column for 07/07, the graph will "break down" that column, presenting a detailed view by specific workflows. This means you will see new columns indicating which AskFlow agent (e.g., "Check-in & Check-out") was responsible for how many sends on that day, providing a granular level of detail for your analysis.
To view the complete graph again, simply click on the highlighted item in the image.
What can I track in the detailed table?
You can view each credit transaction that occurred in the filtered period, whether it was a credit (credits added) or a debit (credits used).
Each row represents a transaction, with the following information in columns:
- Date: Exact date and time of the transaction.
-
Transaction: Indicates whether it was a "CREDIT" (credits added) or "DEBIT" (credits used):
- "CREDIT": Addition of credits to your balance (package purchase, recurring credits/subscription, automatic refunds due to delivery errors).
- "DEBIT": Deduction of credits from your balance (sending messages via WhatsApp campaigns, "start conversation" in Livechat, or AskFlow automations).
- Strikethrough "DEBIT": Cancelled debit (usually due to sending errors), with an automatic refund shown as a new credit transaction.
- Description: Brief explanation of the transaction (e.g., message sending and template used, package purchase, refund).
-
Credits: Number of credits involved in the transaction:
- Positive Credits (e.g., "+ 449"): Number of credits added.
- Negative Credits (e.g., "- 1"): Number of credits deducted.
-
Balance: Remaining credit balance after the transaction.
Finally, if you wish, you can search for a specific transaction in the list using the magnifying glass at the top right corner.
You can also export the data in CSV format for more detailed analysis in a spreadsheet — just click on the Download icon. The downloaded report provides more information than what is shown on the screen, such as:
-
Wallet: Source of the consumed credit, which can be from the subscription or an extra package, for example.
-
Action: Reason for the transaction, such as campaign sending, "start conversation," or automatic sending by AskFlow.
-
Campaign Name: When applicable, shows the name of the WhatsApp campaign linked to the transaction.
-
User Name: When applicable, shows the name of the user who sent the active WhatsApp message.
-
AskFlow Flow: When applicable, shows the name of the AskFlow connected to the transaction.
-
Estimated Sending Cost: When applicable, shows the estimated cost of sending. This is calculated based on the amount paid for the credits in the wallet from which it was debited.
-
If the Transaction Was Refunded: When applicable, indicates that the transaction resulted in a subsequent credit refund.
-
Refund Reason: When applicable, explains why the refund was issued and usually displays exactly the information META sends to Asksuite about the delivery failure.
-
Template Name: Shows the name of the WhatsApp template linked to that transaction.
-
Destination Phone Number: The number to which the message was sent.
-
Conversation Link: When applicable, leads to the chat where the message linked to the transaction is located.
-
Purchase Responsible: When applicable, indicates who completed the purchase of the extra credit package.
-
Purchase Requester: When applicable, indicates who requested the purchase of the extra credit package.
-
Requester Email: When applicable, shows the email of the person who requested the purchase of the extra credit package.
-
Number of Credits Purchased in the Package: This information, combined with the amount paid for the package, allows the calculation of the estimated sending cost, as it indicates how many credits were acquired in the wallet to which the transaction credit is linked.
-
Amount Paid for the Package: This information, combined with the number of credits in the package, allows the calculation of the estimated sending cost, as it indicates the amount paid for the credits in the wallet linked to the transaction credit.
-
Amount Paid for the Package (Currency): Indicates the currency of the transaction.
- Source: Indicates whether the transaction was performed by Asksuite, AskFlow, or the System (automatic renewals).
—------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tip: The estimated sending cost is only displayed for transactions involving recurring credits and extra packages. The calculation is made by dividing the amount paid by the number of credits provided. For example: A package of 100 credits purchased for USD 13 results in an estimated cost of USD 0.13 per send.
—-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How do I view my credit usage history?
To analyze data from previous periods, use the date filter at the top of the page and click "Apply filters." The selected period will be displayed next to the section titles.
—------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Note: The historical analysis only shows data within the filtered period, including the credit balance the company had at 11:59 PM on the last day of the selected period. For example: if you filter data from June 11 to June 16, 2025, you will see the balance as of 06/16/2025 at 11:59 PM and access the details of all transactions that occurred during this period.
—------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Understanding the "WhatsApp Credit Report" allows you to have full control over your credit usage and plan your next actions. Use the filters and detailed information to maintain the financial health of your WhatsApp communication.
