If you've tried logging into your admin panel on another device or browser, you may have noticed that Asksuite requires a second authentication code, in addition to your password, to complete access to your account. This is an additional layer of security for your user and company data, based on two-factor authentication via email. What is it?
Two-step authentication is an extra layer of security that can be added to the login process of accounts and virtual applications. This technology enhances the security of online accounts, making it more difficult for unauthorized access, as the intruder would not only need immediate access to a second code but also wouldn't be able to replicate it. Furthermore, two-step authentication is an effective way to protect online accounts against hacker attacks, often leveraging leaked passwords. Here are some of the benefits of two-step authentication:
- Increases the security of online accounts;
- Makes unauthorized access more difficult;
- Protects online accounts against hacker attacks;
- Prevents virtual tools you use, such as banking apps and email, from being accessed by criminals even if they have your personal password;
- It is an additional layer of security that can be added to the login process of accounts and virtual applications.
Step by step:
1. Access the Asksuite Admin Panel;
2. Enter your login and password to access your account;
3. After entering your credentials, you will receive two messages at the email address associated with your user:
- Alert of a new login to your user. This allows you to be aware of and monitor activities related to your account;
- Unique verification token (verification code) with a validity of 10 minutes, which will be required to securely complete the login process.

⚠️ Important: If the login attempt was not made by you, it will be possible to change your access password by clicking on Reset Password in both the alert email and the email with the verification code.

4. With the authentication code in hand, enter the numbers in the fields on the Asksuite platform to complete the login process;
