What is it?
With just 2 clicks to install the application, your robot will have access to a new text processing logic that works in addition to our existing ones, without replacing them. This new logic, as the name suggests, makes use of the same technology as ChatGPT, the famous OpenAI application.
With our integration with this technology, your robot will have the ability to process traveler messages in a much more specific way, identifying the specific request of each message (instead of just identifying the subject of the message), and responding accordingly, seeking the relevant information in all answers registered within the platform and writing a response that specifically meets what was requested.
In practice, this means that very long and non-objective messages, very complex messages, requesting multiple information in a single sentence, or even subjective requests such as recommendations for nearby restaurants, will be responded to in a clear and specific way, as long as the robot has access to relevant information within the platform.
What is it for?
AskGPT assures that your robot will answer more travelers, more assertively and specifically than before, and with more advanced communication capabilities, such as answering multiple questions in a single sentence or answering open-ended questions like requests for suggestions.
Directly, this will have an impact on your robot's understanding metrics, which you can monitor on the Artificial Intelligence dashboard. Enabling AskGPT, even without any new content added to the bot, there should be a notable impact.
As you can imagine, a robot that clarifies your travelers' queries more assertively, in addition to reducing the volume of calls for your team, also has the potential to increase the number of booking opportunities.
Information used by AskGPT
The application makes exclusive use of the information available about the hotel within the platform, that is, answers registered in the questionnaire, teachings from the Teach Robot feature, and other Askstore artificial intelligence applications. The application does not use information from the internet, meaning it will not be able to recommend restaurants unless this information is registered on the platform.
To ensure that the absence of relevant information is not a limitation, this application comes with a new screen that allows content to be added to the robot in a simple and quick way, without needing it to be linked to a questionnaire answer or teaching.
One of the advantages of this technology is the fact that there is no need to delimit subjects or write specific responses. Just add text describing information about the hotel (copying it exactly as it appears on your website, for example) and the robot will be able to use this information to write its own answers.
What are the limitations and restrictions?
In this implementation, we seek to guarantee the quality of the answers and preserve existing functionalities to maintain, for example, the possibility of having absolute control over the robot's answers with the questionnaire and robot teachings. As a result, there are some intentional limitations on AskGPT's capabilities:
- AskGPT does not fetch information from the internet
To ensure that users have control over the content that is available to the robot, and to ensure that all such content is up to date and can be easily reviewed, only information within the Asksuite platform is available to the robot, specifically the sources are :

- AskGPT does not replace existing robot logic
We want to preserve existing functionality and the ability to have full control over robot responses, so AskGPT is an additional logic that does not replace the previous ones, and this means that not all robot responses will be generated by AskGPT.
In general, only more complex or subjective messages will be directed to this logic.
- AskGPT does not chat contextually
We want to clarify your traveler's doubts and guarantee the reservation, and therefore allowing open conversations within the robot, as happens in ChatGPT, is not a good strategy.
AskGPT responds to each message individually and benefits from well-contextualized questions, but it has a better interpretation capacity than previous logics.
- AskGPT does not talk about sensitive content
Technologies called Large Language Models (LLM) such as ChatGPT, and consequently AskGPT, do not offer absolute control over the text that will be written as a response, and can therefore generate incorrect information, called hallucinations. To reduce this risk, we added a filter that prevents AskGPT from talking about certain topics such as prices and discounts, eliminating the possibility of this being exploited by users.
If hallucinations occur regarding subjects that are not covered by this filter, it is possible to instruct the robot so that this does not happen again. This process is described in the “Good practices to add content to AskGPT” article, in the “How to fix or control AskGPT responses?” section.
