Hey there! In this article, we'll explain how to configure and implement User Groups.
Does your hotel have departments or sectors, such as a reservation center, customer relations, finance, etc?
In the Asksuite system, you can create user groups for each department and customize how the service will work for each one. In addition to distributing chats to each group, you can direct a customer who requests a booking cancellation to the “Finance” group, for example.
Here's how:
1. Go to Settings > User Groups menu and click on “New User Group”:
2. Configure your group, select companies and users:
3. Select this option if you want this group to receive chat transfers for online users only:
4. Click save and this group will be available for chat transfers.
5. Go to your Live Chat screen and select the agent responsible for the chat:
6. Click User Groups:
7. Select the group to transfer the chat:

⚠️ Attention: If the group only allows chat transfers to online users and there's no online user at that moment, it will not be possible to transfer the chat.
